When most people consider giving up smoking they tend to purchase nicotine replacement products such as patches, gum etc.  However, their success rate is reflected in the fact that they only address the physical challenges.  It takes approximately 48-72 hours for the nicotine craving to subside - any craving after that are psychological.

The smoker is addicted to the HABIT! 

Hypnosis deals with this 'mental addiction' and there has been scientific evidence that hypnosis does work.  Having undertaken one of the largest studies ever recorded of stopping smoking methods, spanning several continents, the New Scientist came out with the verdict:

'Hypnosis is proven to work'

Indeed, hypnosis was found to be streets ahead of anything else on the market when it came to helping people to stop smoking.  (New Scientist June 1993)

There are many reasons to give up smoking and each smoker will have a long list of them.  There is one simple criterion which is ESSENTIAL in order to give up smoking with hypnosis - the complete DESIRE to do so!  If a smoker is giving up because their husband, wife or even doctor instructs them to, but they are not 100% committed to it, then it will be unsuccessful. 


The Austin technique was devised by Valerie Austin and is the method used by MindMasters. There are lots of different techniques available, however due to it's extremely high success rate this is the one we use.
